About Me
Welcome! I'm Annika Armstrong. Over my 8+ years of teaching and tutoring, I have gained a lifelong passion for helping students take ownership of their learning. For three years, I taught high school English full-time, designing curriculum for grades 9-12 and AP English Language & Composition. During that time, I guided my AP students in improving exam pass rates from 28% to 88% over two years. After my students developed literacy skills that fostered their sense of self-efficacy beyond the classroom, I knew I had found my purpose. I am currently completing my Master's in Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I continue to improve my own teaching practice while also supporting graduate instructors.
